Scholar Dhaga is the second boss of the Frozen Wastes. Yearning for immortality, she sacrifices the archivists of the Cailiric Archives in an unsightly ritual.

Description
Strategy
Unleashed Power
Dhaga charges for 3 seconds and proceeds to launch 6 bolts at random targets; these bolts travel through blocks. Can be staggered.
Count to three before moving to the side, then move sideways again every second after. Note that the skill is nearly impossible to dodge while in melee range. You can also stagger it to buy yourself a lot of time.
Eldritch Bolt
Dhaga launches a powerful bolt towards an enemy, the bolt follows the target for up to 5 seconds before it either connects or dissipates. Players struck are stunned for 3 seconds.
Jump off the platform and run to the opposite side of the arena before climbing back up the ladder. This is easier to do with a class that can dash or with a speed buff.
Maelstrom
A maelstrom manifests on a player, anyone standing within it take damage per tick, the maelstrom is capable of following players.
If on the middle platform, run in a circle around Dhaga. If on a side platform, run to the middle part of the stair or jump to a platform near a ladder and back onto the side platform. The maelstrom will either get stuck or fall down.
Resurrect Dead
Dhaga summons 4 Undead Archivists that walk towards the area under the middle platform. If any get there, she either regenerates health, uses Veins Boil, or uses Magical Barrier.
Kill the archivists if you have to.
Decay
Dhaga inflicts wither upon all players until she is hit.
Bring a bow to hit Dhaga with in case you are on the ground. It is possible to land a shot on her from the top of the ladder if it is fully drawn.
Orb of Essence
When Dhaga is attacked, she has a chance to spawn an Orb that if players destroy, are given levitation for 7 seconds.
You can use them to get back onto a platform or to activate on-kill passives such as consume.
Magical Barrier
Dhaga shields herself with a magical barrier that lasts a decent time.
Keep track of the archivists on the ground before using your skills as she may surprise you with this at an unwanted time.
Warding Force
Players standing on the middle platform will be attacked with a slow moving melee range projectile that does extreme knockback.
When in the middle platform, run circles around Dhaga as it only fires in a straight line.
Stored Power
Dhaga begins to store power, after a few seconds the middle platform erupts and deal damage and knock back to all standing upon it. Can be staggered.
Jump to a side platform to avoid it altogether and come back afterwards.
Veins Boil
Dhaga's veins boil with rage and she deals damage to all players in the arena.
Keep track of the archivists on the ground if you have a defensive skill that can be used to mitigate the damage.
Regaining Strength
Dhaga begins to regain her strength and increases the speed of her projectiles by a substantial amount.
Last Rites
Dhaga: "You'd better climb, trespasser, else you'll be roasted alive."Dhaga speaks the line above and after a decent time, lava rises from the ground up and stops just before the top of the bookshelves, the lava does extreme damage. Can be staggered.
Climb up or stun her during the long warmup to prevent it altogether. If decay is active during this time, it is safer to stay on top of the ladder then to attempt to jump onto the platforms as the damage tick can make you fall off mid-jump.
Phylactery
At around 1/5 HP, Dhaga places her soul within a Phylactery and becomes invulnerable, in order to disable the invulnerability players must destroy the newly spawned Phylactery.
Hit the phylactery until it's at the wall to give the rest of the group a clear line of sight to attack it from.
In some cases, burst classes are able to kill her from above the HP threshold if they have enough firepower.

- The archivists in the intro can be damaged, allowing players to gain fury, rend or rage stacks before the fight begins.
